My first attempt at anything in UE5

Why Unreal Engine?

The tool is used by many large production companies and allows for a straight line from initial ideas through previz to final production. In other words, nothing is wasted or thrown away. A set or scene can be roughed-out by the production team for the previz and passed directly to the effects and art teams to polish. A low budget production can work from the previz, a bigger budget simply adds more polish.

Unreal Engine also means the production team can make most decisions long before the cameras roll. For instance, the director and DP can try out different shots and lighting months ahead.

It also makes life much easier on the talent. They get to see a rough of the whole story so they understand the context of every scene and, unlike blue screen, the video wall means they can see the set. They get to concentrate on their performance.
